1. Why are your rates so reasonable?
I want to make my treatment available to anyone who is
prepared to put in the effort and determination required to succeed on my
Combination Approach. Many people with Fibromyalgia, through no fault of
their own, have not been able to work for some time and finances can already
be tight.
I suffered with Fibromyaliga for over twenty years,
with all the frustrations, problems and hardships associated with it. I find
it very satisfying to be able to improve the quality of life of so many
people who would otherwise, most probably, continue to get more and more
symptoms and problems.
2. Why do other Fibromyalgia sites say there is no
cure for the condition, yet you are offering a treatment which seems to be
getting excellent results?
I believe that 'Fibromyalgia' has several components.
One of the roots of the problem being Reactive Hypoglycaemia, which most
sufferers are not even aware that they have. By controlling this condition
with the diet I recommend, some other components of Fibromyalgia can be more
easily treated with hands-on physiotherapy techniques and simple exercises.
3. What if I live a long way away?
The best results are achieved if you can come to Derby to be assessed and treated in person. I can
offer double-day appointments for people who are travelling a long way (and
patients have come from as far as Northern Ireland, Scotland, Cyprus and Madrid)
- perhaps you could travel up on the first day, have a half-day treatment
session, stay locally overnight, then have another half-day treatment
session on the second day before travelling back. This would really get you
started on my treatment if you are not able to return for several months.
4. Can you conduct the treatment over the telephone?
Yes. For sufferers who are unable to travel to Derby, I can offer a full hour's telephone or Skype session, at a mutually convenient time. This will incorporate the basics of The Combination Approach, including dietary advice and lifestyle changes. However, it is no substitute for
a personal treatment session, and it is hoped that patients who benefit from the telephone treatment session will be able to continue their treatment in person at a later date. The cost of this telephone session is £30.
5. Are you really the only Physiotherapist and
Nutritional Advisor in the country?
Yes, as far as I know. I studied for a diploma in
Clinical Nutrition originally to find out the theory behind the way I had
managed to treat my own Fibromyalgia. It has since proved invaluable when I
am recommending the diet and other important nutritional advice to my
patients. |
